Alexis Fekete

Alexis Fekete joined Seabury in 2010, he is a Managing Director based in Dubai and London and he coordinates Seabury Securities aviation practice for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Fekete brings over eighteen years of advisory and investment banking experience in the aviation and aerospace industry with specialized experience in M&A, financial & operational restructuring, debt & equity raising, fleet acquisition, aircraft financing, airline and lessor due diligence.
Mr. Fekete recently led Malaysia Airlines’ wide body fleet campaign as well as Kuwait Airways’ fleet transformation and business plan design. He also notably successfully led and closed the financial restructuring and capital raise of Norwegian Air Shuttle over 2020 & 2021 leading to over $7B of debt reduction and $700M of capital raise. He was an advisor to a major European legacy carrier on strategic and turnaround matter. Earlier, Alexis advised a West African Government for the creation of a new airline, he co-led as buy-side investment banker the successful privatization, capital raise & debt restructuring of TAP Portugal, led/ co-led financial restructuring, capital raise & sale of Air Nostrum (Spain). Mr. Fekete has originated or/and executed over 150 aviation & aerospace related transactions in his career, totaling over $20B.
Prior to joining Seabury, from 2004 to 2009, Mr. Fekete was a Vice President aircraft finance at Natixis. Mr. Fekete holds an MBA from INSEAD, studied at the Wharton Business School, and holds a Master in French Business Law with Distinction from the University of Paris and a Master Grandes Ecoles with Distinction from NEOMA Business School.
Mr. Fekete is a FINRA registered representative with the Series 7 and 79 designations.
