Theo Kitsanelis

Vice President

Theo is a Vice President in Seabury’s London team which he joined in 2015. During his time at Seabury he has been advising clients within the aviation sector covering in- and out-of-court restructurings, liability management, M&A and capital raising, as well as fleet planning and aircraft transactions.

Examples of Theo’s notable assignments include SAS’ Chapter 11 process raising $1.2B of exit capital and eliminating more than $2B of liabilities, supporting Avianca on securing $2.7B of exit equity and debt financing as part of its Chapter 11 process, and advising Norwegian Air Shuttle in the out-of-court and subsequently in-court restructuring efforts that resulted in eliminating $7B of liabilities, deploying a new strategy of pure short-haul operations and raising more than $700M of equity and hybrid debt. 

Before joining Seabury, Theo worked at Stamford Partners, an M&A boutique in London.

Theo received his Master’s in Finance from Lancaster University and his Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance from the Athens University of Economics & Business.
